Thursdays on York

Thursdays on York is all about bringing life, colour and community into the heart of Albany.

Held on York Street, this family-friendly event invites locals and visitors to slow down, wander, and enjoy the atmosphere — whether that’s grabbing dinner from a food van, letting the kids enjoy the amusements, or simply stopping to see what’s happening.

This is a place-making initiative designed to get feet on the street, support local businesses, and create a vibrant CBD experience — not a profit-driven event.

Entry to the event is FREE

Kids’ amusements are $20 per child, with unlimited play during opening hours

During school holidays, amusements operate from 11am–7pm

All children are different — play for as long (or as little) as suits your family
